I've heard different stories from different people. Brake booster hooks up to the manifold, on the port behind the carb right? And I read once on here that there is a port on the carb for the tranny modulator..I've got a Holly truck avenger carb, does anybody know where the tranny modulator is supposed to get its vacuum?

From the factory they were supplied from the intake.

John, Mike, thanks guys. That's how I had mine hooked up now I feel better. I was lookin all over the carb for a place to hook up the tranny and never found anything on it.

99%of the time the carb has a fitting in center rear for a 3/8" fitting for brake booster only and the intake also has a threaded hole for the fitting tree between dizzy and carb for all the smaller stuff like mod valve and heater controls, ive seen two sizes of booster feed fittings in the base of carb, some are smaller, i dont know why.

    good luck
