I'm going down the road a few days ago, let off of the gas, and it was like someone turned the key off. After towing it home, I tore into it and found the problem. A wire in the ignition pick up coil had broke. I looked at it for a while, and I found out why. The vacume advance advances/retards the ignition by changing the position of the ignition pick up coil. Well it moves the coil so far, that it pulles the wire tight (other end is connected to the modual), and I guess this time was the straw that broke the camel's back. I have a new coil, and it is all working right, just wanted to share what happend, and ask if anyone else has had this happen? Or do you just go get a reman distributor when it dose happen?
