Well i was just wondering if any of you guys/gals out there have a good idea for what to get the G/F for v-day? I know flowers are a must and i also got her season 3 of Friends as she is collecting all the seasons. I'm looking for something UNIQUE and special here guys i've already got dinner planned out, but jewlrey and chocolate seem a little played out to me. i've got a few ideas but most of the things i've been able to come up with are on the expensive side and being a full time student my 30 hrs. a week on the job don't leave me with much after the bills are paid so price will play a factor for me...........HELP!

Just pay attention to her. She'll appreciate that more than any material thing.

Don't get her anything! The diner will be enough. A wise old man told me she will be mad the first one or to times then she will expect it and all will be good. Wife goes and gets her a few things at christmas and something at a couple other days but expects nothing from me just like all others knowing that I do very little shopping. Drinks and chips at a store about it. Or things from the parts store. 12 years married and she is happy not to get things she don't want no way. But if you really want a suggestion then get something she will use/eat/something that will not be worth fighting over later. Teddy bear/chocolates/beer or something of that nature.

Wow, you're gung ho, eh? Like others have said, don't overdo it or you'll have to for the rest of your life (if you date her long/marry her)...

Ronnny, spoken like a true man! I had to food shop last week while my wife was sick... That must have been the worst nourished week of our lives... On the bright side, we still have a couple boxes of frozen TGI Fridays Mozzarella sticks left...

hmmm... the "dont get her anything" approach also seems to be a win/win/win situation... 1.you dont have to spend the time or money to go shopping. 2. she wont expect it in the future. and 3. women seem to enjoy being treated like crap. ever notice how that one guy who doesnt even deserve to have a pet goldfish gets the awesome girl? treat her like crap, and she'll be yours forever.

Something personal. Something she likes. Something she's into.

I would stay away from guns unless you are never going to leave her. No need to arm her before you break her heart. She may return the bullets one at a time:eek:

Sorry Hon - I Spent The Money on the Truck

Well, if you and your mate are not rich or are budget minded try QVC.

They have some great deals on jewelry. Check out the Diamonique simulated diamonds. My wife loves them, they look like the real thing. You can pick up a 6ct ring for around 50.00 & up, her gal pals will never know the difference unless she lets it slip.

Most of us cannot afford the real thing and as long as she is happy - it's all good.

For valentine's I am getting her the (NO LAUGHING) Joan Rivers Lady Bug watch. Ya, I know Joan Rivers looks like a reanimated corpse but the girls like her jewelry.

ADDY: either that or let her buy you a cack lock, reassuring her once again of your lifelong commitment and loyalty.

Be creative, but some thought into it. If your girl is worth it, then show her. If she's not worth it, dump her. Ain't no reason if she ain't worth the effort on your part.
