There is always Stave lake for mud...although I personally hate mud. Merc359 is from Surrey/Van too, as is U2slow (Coquitlam) BigDummy89K5 (abbotsford). There are quite a few more as well...

I've met them both when I bought my cross over set up from them. I'm from Sooke, near Victoria.

cool a few ck5ers out there

anyone represent the badge on the windsheild?

any special deals to rock one of those because Id love too..

also im planning on towing my truck down there.. how you going to moab rene...

also you going full hydrulic or assit? im contemplating because i heard it was unsafe for the street. but I read a post about the lines being super strong if you dont get the roating joint. then i could always do some protecting/skidplating

    thoughts?

I've had the "coloradok5.com" windshield banner on my Jimmy since 2000...you can get those windshield stickers from Steve through the online store (homepage) http://coloradok5.com/store/

As for how I'm getting down there...I drive my truck to Moab, wheel it, and drive back. Rolling down there on 40's with no OD or radio was a real treat in '03. :haha:

I have my box tapped for hydro assist, but haven't got any further. Once it's all back together on on the road I'll get serious about some research and finish that part. With hydroboost I've heard of some issues running hydro assist. I may try and run a dedicated pump for the steering and a second for the brakes if possible...or maybe one uber pump for both. Not sure yet.

Full out hydro steering is fine for a trail rig, but if it sees any street I wouldn't do it. Aside from there being no mechanical link between the steering wheel and the tires it just isn't legal (here anyways...)

For '07 i plan on having some 37" Mall terrains on the truck and hopefully some 42" TSL's in a utility trailer behind me. I found the 40's actually ran pretty smooth, but watching them wear out on the way down and on the way home was depressing.

i'm hoping to be running 42's by BB '07. I've been running 39.5's since BB '03...and they're getting pretty worn now. Maybe 30% left average. 42's would be as big as I'll go. 44's are too wide IMO.

Dirty are you Bowtie on the other board? If you are I'm jp, the guy that said he'd pick up the Blazer seat. Any way I haven't had a chance to get up there. Sorry I haven't got a hold of you. Anyway when you get that beast goin we'll have to get out for a wheel on some of them north Island full size trails.

The seat isn't a big deal. I didn't expect you yo hold on to it. I was too busy / lasy to pick it up. I've seen your project on the Island board and I can't wait to see updates.
