    Please keep your eyes out for this '85 4 runner. It was stolen from the 5 corners area in Vancouver, WA last night between 11 pm and 9 am. It has 6" of lift, 36" TSL SX's, full cage, relocated front suspension w/ boomerang shackles, running scissor shackles on the rear springs.

    This runner was just purchased by grundy99 a few days ago. He was doing some work to it and was scheduled to install the kill switches today. He didn't have a chance to slap a big ass BWP sticker on it or it would be a lot easier to spot. If you see this rig or have any info, please call 360 936 9595.

    The current OR license plate reads VXT 268.

    man that blows. I'v had a few buddies yotas get stolen. I'd say to get everyone you know out in the woods. They probably got all they wanted off of it and have dumped it by now. :(

    I know the feeling of getting your rig stolen. It sucks! Especially when you put all of your work into it.

    also be searching craigslist for the area, some people are dumb like that.

    that shackle set up would be a pretty good giveaway.

    Well, a portion of it was found dumped in a new construction area. It has been hacked to pieces.

    We are headed out tonight to pick it up and bring it home for the ins. co. Over $10K in parts and it's all gone...:mad: We are coming up with a list of parts to be on the lookout for. I think we found the tranny w/ the t-cases attached on CL, but can't get the ****er to call me back.

    Here is what was found;

    man that is some ****ed up ****. I hope those little theiving bastards burn in hell. :mad: The only way there will ever be any up-side to this crappy story is if we all learn from it and redouble our efforts with respect to vehicle security. If you've been dragging your feet about installing that kill switch... or chaining something to something else so the rig can't even be dragged away... or getting a cool big dog... or whatever, now is the time for action. Don't let some POS do this to your rig. :(

    thats a huge downside to a toyota, you can get one open and started with a blank key. seen it done many times.
