yikes! Glad I have my KMA. =) Nice to know that I can smack down a F-350 in a 5mph frontal collision...not that I'd like to try it! =p

Damn! Sounds like a 500 dollar repair bill for brushing your leg against the bumpers. [IMG]

Answers: $1, Short: $5, Correct: $25, dumb looks are still free.

They just don't make trucks like they used to. We live in sad times, people.

Lets see that would mean in a parking lot, lets say a Grocery store averageing 200 cars and in Texas 1/2 of them would be trucks, and 1/2 of that new ones would mean 50 brand new trux....given 5 mph collisions at intervals of 3 minutes to find and engage...lets see in a little over 2 hours in my K-5 with MY built bumpers I could inflict over $400,000[IMG] dollars damage to them new wimpie wuss trucks[IMG] with zero damage to my K-5. no wait it would most likely knock dirt loose from my undercarraige and mar up my nice coat of rust I've built up on the bumpers...LOL[IMG][IMG]....JK

White Knight...owwwwww my drain is bamaged after all that

My friend has an AZTEK and he was surprised to hear that they wouldn't withstand a rear end collission very well ! I just laughed .......... 1st , because he bought an AZTEK ........ and 2nd, what was he thinking ? The @$$ end is already half way through the vehicle ! LOL!

Re: (vanity post) Low-speed crash tests show tough trucks have wimpy bumper

I flipped and rolled twice in my '90. The adjuster said there was $18,000 damage. The truck was only $15,000 new in '90. That was at 70 - 80 kph or around 45 mph. It was a ride and a half. I'm glad I was wrapped in steel rather than plastic.
