The wife and I are going to Vegas in the middle of next month (Feb). I am looking for any recomendations on where to stay, Ceasars, Luxor, MGM Grand, or any other suggestions? I have never been there and just want to know where to go, I DON'T want to end up at a "Motel 8" with Tom Bodett!!!!
Thanks

All of the nice casino's like MGM,Luxor,& New York NY are pretty expensive to stay at. Go online and do a search for pricing. You will be shocked on how much a night is at Ceasars!

A bunch of us here are planning to go there on next New years. Since we had so much fun getting robbed at all the casinos here in Atlantic City this year (East coast version of Vegas), we've decided to raise hell there [IMG] next year.

Anyhow, I heard hotel rooms there are cheap b/c they want you to stay so they can rob you some more. Heck, I heard most stuff there is cheap. Anyhow, have fun out there, let me know if yall find some cheap joints out there and what places yall recommend to check out.

We stayed at the MGM Grand for 60 a night back in July. We just walked in and said give us a room. That place is HUUUUUUUGE. The freaking pool was about 4 miles from our room! You hafta go at night though. We stayed at a dumpy Days Inn the previous two nights and it didn't make a difference cos we were never there anyway. We would come into the room and crash, get up at noon and do it again.

That jeep thing? Yah I understand it....... Like my Blazer? http://community.webshots.com/user/blazerk5

For my money, you can't go wrong with either Terrible's (Herbst) on Paradise & Flamingo, or the Excalibur on Vegas Blvd, south of Tropicana - Terrible's runs about $79 a night for two, and the Excalibur runs $49-59 during the week, higher on weekends. Both are pretty nice joints, and worth the few extra bucks over the fleatraps.

......And knowing is half the battle
