Looking for a decent quality cd player that can be mounted vertically in a console. Any body have any experiences with mounting cd players vertically? Any brands to recommend for the vertical situation...

The instructions for my Alpine CD changer say that it can be mounted vertically. It has internal damping to control the read head when going over bumps. BozoWise runs a stereo shop and may be able to provide info on what brands/models can be mounted vertically.

Most cd changers can be mounted vertical but I don't know of any cd players other than the portable variety that are designed to be mounted vertically.

Mine is mounted vertically in the center console. I don't know what kind it is, but it works fine. You can see pictures at the homepage in my profile.

My pioneer 12 disc changer works great in my console, never skipped on me, ever.
