Hard to tell visually if it's OK or not. I'd jack up the rear end (support it on stands, release the parking brake) put the truck in gear (or Park if it's got a slush-box) and grab the output yoke of the transfer case in one hand, the driveshaft in the other and twist the yoke and shaft in opposite directions a few times to see if there is any play in that U-joint. If there's play, it's bad. If there's basically no play, it's good. This problem does sound like a universal joint problem, since it appears under power and goes away when not under power.
