My good friend is visiting and brought some Tellico video of his truck after the conversion. Last time I saw his truck it was bone stock. We filled it full of gear and drove it from San Diego CA, up and down the 6 most western states then from CO to North Carlolina with no problems (except the vapor lock in Veil,CO). Since then, hes swapped an s-10 cab onto the chassis, bumped up to a 14bFF in the back and 3/4 Dana44 front with both spiders welded tight, 38's front 39.5's rear. He's working on a link kit for it now, should be interesting! He lives at the base of the trail so he gets all kinds of good footage... I'll post some roll-overs and such a bit later but first.

    Heres his truck:

    Enjoy!

Cool looking rig! But doesn't it ride like a garbage truck? Just running single RS5000's at each corner makes a full-bodied K5 ride pretty rough. Looks like his has lost quite a bit of weight /forums/images/icons/wink.gif which would just make it seem like the shocks were even stiffer. I can't imagine having Dual RS5000's on a K5, let alone on one without a body! /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

I was giving him a hard time about the shocks too. I've got some footage of him ramping it and it flexes real nice... and slow. The shocks dont prevent any flex but rather slow down the speed at which it can happen. I figure with his right foot, its probably a good thing! LOL. He did admit that it ran like a skateboar down rail road tracks on the street but its a trail only rig. I've also got video footage of a VW based dune buggy jumping up some of that terrain... too funny but he was making it!

Thats some pretty good use of the skinny pedal! I'm so used to crawling everything, it must be a blast to just go pedal down through everything! Although I don't think my internal organs would ever be the same again, if I even had any left after a ride like that /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif Definitely a cool rig! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
