Vin Decoding

    I have a truck I am interesed in buying. I wanted to check the VIN but he only gavce me this.... HF153695. Is there anyway i can check without the rest of the code or not. Thanks.

    Get a hold of him and get the whole code. If that is the whole code, and you have a LMC catalog, you can decode it from there.

    A couple guys here have a carfax account too, they might be able to give you some history on the truck, too, if you can get the whole VIN.

    All that part of the VIN tells us is that its an 87 built in Flint and that it was the 53,695th produced.
