Does a Vortec block have the stuff for a mechanical fuel pump? Found a real good deal on a Vortec motor with Heads and roller cam setup.

All Vortec V8's were fuel injected, so GM didn't even bother to have a place on the block for a mechanical fuel pump to mount. But a low pressure electric pump will work just fine if you plan to run a carb. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
