Being a young American family in todays world ,.....owning a small company.......feeling the devistating tax blows one after another......not to mention tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gifWE ARE CONFUSED...neither one of us pay attention to the news really all that much, and the voting is coming up pretty soon, i just dont know. Would someone please explain this to me?BUSH vs KERRY? Its real hard to keep everything going, our buisness, and pay attention to our son,and keep up with polotics today.I just cant do it. Someone boil it down very easily as we arent political masterminds like some of you.I know everyone seems so up on bush, but why??? I see alot of people who work for the goverment, police (bubba) /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif who are so pro bush.......please pardon me, but we are somewhat lost /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif Please explain simply, if there is a simple way .Because we are voting. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Its been real hard to keep our asses out of the sling alone lately, not to mention pay attention to all the polictical whirlwing going on around us..........Jacob* /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Fire away /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Generally speaking Democrats are for bigger National Government, higher taxes, more UN control over the USA, less individual responsibility and more National Government over our daily lives. Generally speaking Republicans are for smaller National Government, lower taxes, less UN control over the USA, more individual responsibility and less National Governmental control over our daily lives. Democrats are generally pro abortion, pro homosexual marriage, against military funding and anti Second Amendment (gun ownership). Republicans are mixed on abortion, anti homosexual marriage, generally for military spending and generally for Second Amendment rights. Democrats want a National Goverment Healthcare system, Republicans dont. Democrats generally vote for higher unemployment benefits, Republicans generally dont. Basically todays Democrats want a Socialistic type of National Goverment where everyone shares equally regardless of effort. Generally Republicans are staunchly against this and believe America was built by those with extrordinary effort and therefore deserve the reward of their effort.

    Hope that helps /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The media in its current form is so biased it is hard to form ones own opinion. As for Rep -v- Dem, and Kerry -v- Bush, we have complete opposits. Kerry is very into the demecratic thinking (work and you will get paid, don't work and you will still get paid) Bush is very into the republican thinking (don't want to try, not gonna succede). There are a lot of little things in between them that set off debates and fights. As for our hobby and no other opinions towards a vote in this post, Kerry will try to close to the public, Bush will try to open it. This can be, camping, hunting, wheeling, or just fishing with your kids land.
