Ok let me preface this by the fact that I'm already getting over this but.....

I dunno if it was during editing or publishing or what

BUT MY FIRST EVER CG COLORATION THAT I WORKED 12+ GODDAMN HOURS ONE GOT DELETED! THE WHOLE GODFDAMN FOLDER! 20 DIFFERENT WORKING FILES FOR IT!

If it wasn't for the JPG I had uploaded I wouldn't have it at all!

    I AM SO GODDAMN MAD!

    Here's a question though -

On my old Win98 dinosaur I was using a year or two ago, when I marked a file "Read Only" i couldn't delete it, now I can.

I want to know how to make read only files non deleteable

    SO THIS WONT HAPPEN AGAIN

I'm shopping for that external HDD right now

I'm backing up my art files as we speak to CD

    Grrrrrr

I know it might sounf lame to you but this stuff takes precedent over my truck.... it's that important

That's the small version for distribution, the original was 5000 x 4225. The final Photoshop file was 98MB.

I'm not too sad becasue I recovered at least oen digital file of it. Plus the PS file was ruined becasue I saved it flattened.

    God.... damn.....

    *sniff*

I did download a nice recovery program before I posted, but all I was able to salveage was the lineart and the face shading reference but *PhbbbbbbT* what the hell use is that....

The tow I would really like to get back are the final photoshop file and the large version jpg of it completed. The jpg doesnt show up and the Photoshop document comes up as corrupt?

    Any ideas?

    Anyway....

I'm over it regardless, I'm just kind of pissed I won;t be able to print hi res versions of it
