To all K5ers do not throw away your old shocks I am looking for about 20 used shocks like Rancho,Pro Comp,Heckethorn,Skyjacker,so on. Looking for all sizes but must have eye to eye mounting holes. i want to drill out the fluid and put them under my blazer for dummy shocks. I will pay for shipping or if you live in or near Northern CA i will drive to you. Thanks 1 FN HI K5

C'mon now, let's not this degrade into a newsgroup flame war. But I gotta admit, what's the point of installing dummy shocks on such a classic and honest 4x4 like a 1st-gen blazer? If it doesn't improve performance, it doesn't look good, in my opinion anyway...

Just a thought but if you have 18 inches of lift then shock that are for 0-6" lifts will not fit. You would have to have them for your 18" lift. The other ones would be way too short.

The shocks that i am looking for the rear is for 4 to 6 inch lift i have a bracket on top of my spring pack. This way i can fan out 4 shocks per side. Then i need 6 more to go across the top of the back axle again i need them for 6 to 8 inch lift.
I hope this clears things up.
Even if you have good shocks the longest ones they make i think they are 30 or 32 inches from eye to eye i will buy them from you. Thanks 1 FN HI K5
