On goes the project: '68 Budget Truggy... Now that the frame is ready to be welded its time to start planning on suspension so I can get axles under it.

So... home-brew shackle flip and springs. I have a set of rear springs but I have no idea what they are, how much lift they give or anything else, when I measured them against my 2" lift on my blazer they are about 1" taller before any weight is put on them... so I am thinking they are roughly 2" lift springs?

Anyway, I am looking for any/all free/unwanted leaves that people may have out there somewhere... If ya got some and dont want them let me know

    Thanks
    -Ryan

i have some spare leaves... basically they are stock 52" packs minus one leaf. You can have them for free once I am done with them. I need to make sure the 52" packs Im going to keep provide enough lift... once that is clear, you can have the other ones. :D

    cool :thumb:

    Thanks!

I figure if I get enough pieces, I should be able to make myself a "good" lift leafpack

not a problem. If it turns out that I'm not getting the lift I want from my leaf-added packs, you can have all the used 52" spring stuff I have (2 complete pairs, one of which has been thouroughly cleaned up and painted). At that point, I'll just go with some aftermarket (TC prolly) 2" lift rear springs and be done with it... ;)
