Rebuilding my '72 engine and I would love to get some Vortec Heads. I am on a tight budget so I was hoping some of my K5 brethren could help me out. Let me know what you have. I really want to get my Blazer up and going for summer!

    Thanks,

    Rod

when i bought mine i got them from my local chevy dealer for 200 per head. you have to use self-aligning rocker arms with them and vortec only intake gaskets. both of which i got at the dealer for 80 dollars. when you pick a cam be careful as the stock vortec will only handle a .470 lift( i think). scoggins sells a set of vortecs already machined for bigger cams with new springs installed for 220 a head but you still have to buy the rockers and intake.
