Just wanted to let youall know that I had a hub fuse strip out on me instead of a Ujoint or a shaft on my D44.
When the fuse let go it was a perrty loud BANG!! Like a stub shaft breaking noise.
Just took off the hub cap, picked out all the little teeth, stuck in a new fuse and that was it.....SWEEEEEET!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
    WARN ROCKS!!!

Thats cool, but when the hub fuse broke did you think you were in danger of breaking something else? What I mean is... do you think that the fuse is too weak, or just right?

Hmmm I think I got them from OffRoad Design..I bought two sets when I switched last year...I would guess any of the 4x4 parts places here or anyone that sells Warn products can supply them too ya. I think they are around 20bucks a set if I remember...that was awhile ago so????

Well when it poped I was perrty crossed up on a trail and I wasn't sure what I broke. The bang was fairly loud. I managed to get back to level ground and started looking and checking. I have D44 stuffed with Warn CM shafts and CTMs. So after the visual inspection I knew it had to be the fuse. But man it was just a helov a sound when it let go....
Last year before the CTMs whent in I was able to bust a Spicer 297 ujoint with the hub fuses in so I would say they are strong enough that they would not strip out too easily...my .02c
    I like um!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Sounds like the ticket if you've got the upgraded shafts and ujoints.
