washing under hood

    after muddin, im sure everyone has all that crap covering the engine compartment, ive heard both good and bad about using the power washer thing at the local Spot-Not-Car Wash, what damage could i do?? thanks

    mostly you need to make sure you don't get any water in the carb or distributor other than that you should be ok i wash mine all the time with one /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    <font color="green"> I've never used a pressure washer but I do use a high pressure nozzle on the hose. I figure anything that gets water in from the hose probably needed to be sealed up better anyways. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif </font>

    i'd also lube the hood latch and all. i spray white lithium grease in the creases of my hood also, ilive in michigan where they dump a ton of salt every 1/4 mile even if it flurries.
