Is it just a regional thing to up here or what? Eating some Ritas right now. I'm not talking those Luigi things you get at the grocery store(though I love those) they are just not the samething as real water ice. I know Tshy had never heard of Water Ice till she moved to New York.

italian ice... it's like a snow cone... but more like ice cream... just no cream... lots of sugar, slush, and some other crap to make it stick together and not freeze solid...

Ritas is great! I go there whenever I'm in PA and it's open. I grew up in NYC, italian ices are typical fare for summer. Yummy!

Yeah she moved to Long Island. Sadly it was winter so I couldn't treat her to it.

Its not a slushy or a snow cone, its inbetween. I highly recommend you try it if given the oppurtunity. I've grown up on the stuff here in Eastern PA.
