water temp sensor?

    i have an 87 k5 350 tbi and i was told to replace my water temp sensor but i am not sure where that is

    The water temp sensor is the sensor right next to the thermostat housing on the top front of the motor. That tells the computer what temp your motor is running at. If you want the water sensor for the guage it is the sensor on the diver's side bank between the first two exhaust ports. Hope this helps.

    You might want to make sure its the problem before replacing it. Apparently they do fail once in awhile, although I've never had it happen.
