You know, it's pretty quiet around here with Donald being occupied for the time being..........

Anybody have any big plans this weekend? Me, I pick up the rental tomorrow and head to VA on Sunday for 10 or so days. Hopefully I will finish early and get back home in 5 or so.

Well I found a set I just need to make it to Fayetteville and pick them up from 10pax. Was hoping to do it this weekend, but TAD trip was moved to the left so leaving earlier than I expected.

Building ladder bars for the front and rear axles tonight. Well atleast getting started on them. Will probably weld the brackets to the axles tomorrow. Then may try to figure something out on rear shock hangers, and get the new shocks on.. Basically will be hanging out in the garage for the majority of the night. If anybody's out this way feel free to stop in and check out the progress. Other than that, got to hit up a cooks machine shop and see if they may be able to help me out on the front drive shaft issue or I'm just going to have to break down and pay for a Woody! Man I don't even want to think of what that's going to cost me. I'm planning for somewhere around $700-$800. That's with a 40 degree double cardan.

Just got done reading an email from Tom Wood at Tom Wood's Drive Shafts. Got to get up some measurments for him and we are going to roll from there. Can't wait to see what this is going to cost. May end up putting limiting straps on the axles to cut down on the cost of shafts. NOTTTT.... If I do, it won't be for price cuts. Can't take away from the flex and droop. It's awesome. Just got to buy 18" or more travel shocks. The new Super lift LONG'S won't work. They're to short. Oh well. Think maybe you guys could possibly take up some donations over the week end to help me pay for my shaft? Would really love to go to URE. I think that's going to be the only thing that may hold me back. We'll see.:D:D
