Around 7:00 last night (Sat), a State Trooper called in saying he was in pursuit of a Mustang. Two and a half hours later, he still hadn't checked in. They're still looking for him....

Do they know where he was, and what direction he went after them?

As much as I hate to say it... it sounds like he may have crashed in the chase. Sounds like it's time to start looking for skid marks, broken branches etc.

I hope that he's ok, and that he's found soon enough to get help.

I'm still trying to get some information on this. This afternoon we had another tragedy in the form of a head-on collision, killing both occupants.

The Highway Patrol needs to read their own damn law books before they enforce it on the public, as two officers were traveling approximately 80-90 MPH in a 35 MPH business district while responding to said wreck.

When he last reported in, he was in a notoriously bad portion of Columbus County.

Bad as in racial differences, gun shots, murders.

He was found, alive. That's all I have been able to find out so far. I'm still looking though.
