Webb Road is one of our local areas with plenty of room to wheel and camp.Three other trails are 5 minutes away also, you could never run out of fun here. For anyone thats been to Canfield before, Webb is 10 minutes North on Route 11. I've seen 40 to 50 trucks at Webb during our Halloween bashes, plus quads, so there's plenty of room. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am certainly interested and I am trying to keep that weekend open for Canfield. I don't have my Blazer going yet-- still in a thousand pieces. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I sure would like to explore The Webb. I have got to find out better where it is, I drove by when I was in the area, but I am at a loss how to get in the place. Well, I hope to see you guys during that weekend! Let me know what I should bring to the cookout. Bruce

TanMan...don't sweat the small [naughty word], I'm rolling either in my '95 Grand Cherokee on 31's..or a '76 K5 on 32's thats gonna cost me a whole $200. You got a seat in either, plus wheel-time. It's gonna be trails, mud, stucks, recoveries, campfires, laughing, beer, etc. Did I say babes? We can bring them from Canfield...plus the locals, plus whoever brings g-friends. Just basic major off-road fun! Bring tents(or not) sleeping bags(it's summer) so a blankie. BUG-SPRAY!! Firewood(LOGS) or chainsaw, generator and DVD player with porno. BTW....We have an annual bash at Webb that usually draws about 50 trucks that falls on the 2 closest weekends to HALLOWEEN! You won't believe it till ya see it. I've seen the abandonded road filled wall to wall on BOTH sides! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

From Canfield on Rte. 11 North(from 224)..go 10 min. North to Mahoning Ave.. Right turn onto Mahoning. 4th or 5th light should be a 5 points intersection...Wendy's at 2'O'clock...Make a 90 degree left. Follow 4-mile road until it swoops down and up..look on yer left...theres WEBB!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Basically the same coming from the other way...11 South from 80/76 hanging Eastbound would be a left from 11 to Mahoning Ave. And then 5 lites to a 90 degree left onto 4 mile run road...Webbb comes up to the left after the dip. At a Cul'de'Sac? (circle) The hardcore trails are right in front of you. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

EDdaTree, I got the directions. I was there, but I would think I would get stuck as soon as I get off the road in any Blazer I would build. There are some deep looking holes there. It is only 30 minutes from me. I heard about the Halloween party from a Jeep guy who talked to my brother once. Sounds like a great place. Thanks for offering me a ride EDdaTREE and JK5. Sounds like so much fun, I got to plan on it for sure. I would like to see you pick up a stuck Blazer, EDdaTREE, hulk man, LOL.

    Re: WEBB SLUSH RUN/CANFIELD JAMBO JULY 25, 26 &27

Webb varies greatly in difficulty depending on rain. I ran it last August with JK5 in my ZJ on 31's and went all over. Then again, our last Halloween bash...it was so slippery that you could barely walk without falling. I've heard of "The Tunnel" being up to the hoods of trucks on 44's sometimes....and I've seen Emmettology do his "IceBreaker" impression thru it on 35's without spinning a tire. TanMan...the holes ain't too bad, just gotta know which holes are deep and which ones ain't! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

    Re: WEBB SLUSH RUN/CANFIELD JAMBO JULY 25, 26 &27

Okay, the rain stopped, so far today we've had heat, rain, wind, storm, lightning, thunder. Just another typical Ohio 4th. Webb right this minute would be 33's-35's or better and V8. 44's or 36's could do most of it with a local to guide ya. TanMan...them holes in the front of the cul de sac are big but there's ways through. I've seen good drivers on 31's out-do bad drivers on 44's. I took JK5 thru 2 stream crossings with my ZJ. There's quite a few bypasses for most holes. Just drive whatever streetcar to that circle and park it, you won't have to worry about it. There's room to park trailers and trucks, too. It's our staging area and a whole 'nother party. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Me and JK5 just got back from Webb. Rained while we were out there. Only took the hook 5 times in 1 hole. Made it all the way back to the tunnel. Rained like crazy. I have 2 inches of water in my floor of the ZJ. I did every hole eventually with a ZJ on 31 Grabber AP's. JK has the 1 hole on the digi-cam. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
