This belongs over at the tow rig site but it's just a quick question and I forget to venture over there quite a bit....

This weekend is the first time I'll be towing my rig for a long ways. I remember the signs at all the weigh stations saying any vehicle over 8,000 pounds needs to stop. Does this mean vehicle or combination? I've never stopped with our boat before (about 10k all together). I'll probably come it at about 16k with fuel and gear which is well within the truck's limit, I just don't want to hold up our vehicle caravan since I think I'm the only one trailering.

Probably a really stupid question, and there might not be any weigh stations open between here and Gilbert anyways, just want to cover all my bases.

I'm guessing the sign actually says 80,000lbs.
