anybody weigh one?
i don't have a scale but i have a few lyin around
pretty heavy though
I heard that an 8 bolt style wheel w/ a mag runflat is about 55lbs.
I've got wheels and a scale at home but it might be Sunday before my wife will let me stop long enough to weigh one.
According to Cruzrdan's add on ebay (4) tires mounted on (4) wheels with a pallet is 530lbs.
Nothing scientific here, but a full up wheel/tire and runflat are very heavy. The spare tire on my Humvee weighed a lot more than the spare on my Unimog (12.5r20 michelin 40"). I would guess that a full Humvee setup weighs more than 100 lbs.
They are not very heavy. 8 or 12 bolt? The 12 bolt is heavier. I'd guess 40 lbs for a wheel, the run flats are light. I've got both dismounted right now so I can go out and get you a weight.
(not for a H1 but)I'll take a while guess and say that one of my 35x12.5x16.5 steel rim weighs about 80-90 LBS
wheel with no runflat weighs 37 lbs. runflat weighs 18 lbs. tire and wheel and runflat vary due to tread depth and actual tire (mtr or rtII) 110-120. They also have rubber runflats which are heavier than the mag ones but havent weighed one
Brian beat me to it. I took the bathroom scale out to the garage so this isn't perfect but the 8 bolt weighed 37, the 12 bolt weighed 44 with out run flats.
