weights hiting tie rod

    i had my tires balanced 33 12.50 and the damn weights are hitting the tie rod. i am going home tom and want to fix it is there another type of weight i get put on it

    Yes...I ran into the same problem.
    Tire stores sell/use stick on wheel weights that go on the inside surface of the rim. Just held on with an adhesive. I have them, and don't notice any difference.

    Oh yeah, another option is to attach the crimp on weights to the outside of the rim...but you'd have to not care about the looks of it.

    The stick-on weights work pretty good, just make sure that they stick them in an area that won't hit the brake caliper. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
