    Cracked frame @ steering box. I've ordere the brace and patch from ORD. Considering picking up a flux wire core welder at Costco unless someone out there cares to assist me with the welding. ??? :)

    I can help you out with that if you bring the rig and the brace to my place and like we were talking about on krazyk5 let me take a good look at the brace and get some measurements off it.

    You guys should bring that up to my place, you're going to need a welder with some balls to get good penetration.

    Not sure on the amperage, but I wouldn't use a 110v on it. I have a 220v/260amp mig that will take care of it for you. You can give me a call and I could do it next Saturday or Sunday if you want to come up and tear it down. I know Rick wants to get a look at the parts, so both of you could come over and drink a couple of beers while we get it done.

    ya going to brents would be a better bet he does have a much better welder than i do. and is just plain a better welder than I am you know this is kinda funny because we are talking about the same thing on 2 boards now.
    What is the point?
