welding exhaust pipes?

    Any problems with welding the muffler to the pipes.

    My exhaust has come off several times due to clamps loosing up so I plan on welding everything except the tailpipe and cat, it should be more stable with less clamps dont you think. any problems or reason not to do this?

    Use a mig welder if you can. I cant get the small rods to arc very well on low amperage with my stick welder.

    pretty much got it all done, man what a difference without those cheap clamps. cant wait to try it out next week and see how it holds up. i used a mig welded and it work great even under the truck.
