It is a 1998.5 Dodge 2500 Cummins (24 valve) 4x4, longbed, quadcab, with the 5spd. I purchased an extended warranty and I pick it up Tuesday.

No, no bowtie but it will be towing my K5 when I get back from ND. I am hoping to make a week long trek to AZ after I get back from ND to hit the trails down home in AZ. Just gotta decide if it is going to be Parker, TM, or FL.

I hear Die Hard calling my name though. And I want to answer it something fierce.

The work in Junction turned into work in North Dakota. I am headed there for 3 months after Thanksgiving.

Thanks for the props on the truck. I am really happy I finally have something nice to drive, take on longer trips, and is pretty reliable. I hope to be back in AZ for a week in March sometime. I am going to take a week off work after I get back from North Dakota. I NEED to do some four wheeling.

So, does that mean you'll be hitting some trails with us next year?

Yes it does. Now I can get back an forth to the hard trails here in CO and have a reasonable expectation of making it to and from the trail. :D

Check the block for any cracks. The '98's are common for cracked blocks.

I clocked 375 miles today and all it well. The truck did great and it still has plenty of power even going over passes at over 11000ft. I went 375 miles and used 1/2 tank of gas. :D
