Well I started my Cross over set up this afternoon. Putting on the Steering box is WORSE than doing a starter that wants to fight w/ you. As in holding it in place when your arms are tired and starting the bolt! But anyways you have to be a Contoursionist (if I did'nt spell it right you get the idea) to hold the steering box in place and start the bolts. Well it is in, I guess it knows who is Boss know, or did it let me Win this time?

Later Ed

Get use to the view.
Because, if your not the LEAD DOG the view never changes.

LOL oh yeah I know exactly what ya mean. That box gets REAL heavy REAL quick if you are doing the job solo. A project like this definetly makes having a buddy over to help a big plus.

Why did you swap the box instead of the shaft? All you need is the shaft and you can swap it out without removing it from the truck.

Hi TJ, sure I'll give you a hand let me know.
Hey Toby, long time no see. Now you tell me. lol. They say hind sight is 20/20. Where I got the box same price for shaft or complete. But I figure if I go to hydro assist, I can have the 4x box drilled & tapped rebuilt w/ 2wd shaft. Then reinstall w/ minumum down time.

See ya on the Trails.

I'm not tail gating. I'm DRAFTING.
