I decided to let the Cherokee go back to the bank and bought another old rig instead.
I picked up a 69 K5 still stock with a new complete 6" all spring lift with all the stuff to go with it and a set of new 39.5 Swampers for $2500.
Only hitch is it needs an engine, I have 3 to choose from and will be dropping in a fresh plant in the next few weeks.
    It's all good.:cool1:

For now I am just gonna build a mild 355 for it.
About 9.0:1 compresion, Rhoads hydra solid cam kit with a set of WP's S/R Torquers 2.02 intakes, Ebrock RPM intake and a Jet stage II Q-jet.

I'll just toss a set of fresh tires on it and drive it as is for now.
Later on as I get myself settled again and into my own place I will start gearing up to install the lift and axles.
I am still undecided as to get the 39.5s, I don't realy think I will be putting that large a tire on it.
But I also have absolutely no furniture so they would make a handy bed frame or something to set a TV on and a coffee table.

I'll be picking it and the engine up next week so maybe I can get a camera and take a few pics.
