Things are a little up in the air with the body work now, the original plan was to run a '74 soft top, and it's still possible but I may end up with some more major body mods that would make a custom top/shade more practical. It's getting to the point that I need 2 trucks, one that's a little more civilized for stuff like camping trips and more moderate trails, and one (the K5) that's just for nasty stuff.
I'll have to see what happens.
Regardless, that missing half cab weighs in at about 75# and it was at the very top of the truck, so I'm happy to see it gone.

Yup, we have some work to do on the latches, they're not quite tuned in yet but overall they worked out real well. I'm pretty happy with the blend of function and style, and I'm kind of a minimalist so I like that they're no more busy than they need to be to get the job done. Basically they're just there to keep rocks out and look like a door so you don't have a gaping GM door hole.

100% agree with you with keeping it basic.

if they are anything like what you guys build as far as durability, strength, expect an order from me.

    thanks

Well, I already have a hard top off a '74 that I haven't found a good use for. How about we trade $740 for a Doubler? :-)
