I got to shoot clays for the first time in about 10 yrs, 3 weekends ago, when I attended a mens retreat. I forgot how much fun that was. The most I got was 13 out of 25 clays, which was about my 3rd round of the day.

If I had my own shotgun, I think I'd have done better. The camp I was at had some beat up old mossbergs, which jammed a lot. My own gun is a winchester model 12, that I got from my grandfather. It's heavy for clay shooting, but I like it.

    Surpip, what were you shooting?

I love skeet. Although lots of folks buy very expensive (and very nice) guns, a good old Remmington 870 or 1100 has always done just fine for me. I have an 1100lt in .20 ga. that is great.
