H&H Chevrolet holds a all Chevy car show every year, so I went down this morning. I should have charged up the battery in my camera so I could have got more pics. Anywho, look at this original 72 K5 that was there. [IMG]

Sometimes ya just have too check out the originals. My first K5 was a 72. Nowhere original as that white one. Mine had a 454, sm465/NP-205 and 1-tons. I'd like too get another 72 K5. But then again, a 89 to 91 would be cool too.

my friend MICKEY's dad was the president of TAYLOR AREA STREET RODS back in the 70's.i bet PAULY383 remembers.anyway a guy had one in his car and thats the best memory i have of all the engines i've seen.A&W resteraunts were the whip for cruising, the were a drive up and have some one come to you kinda place. the little platform for your window and everything.and every monday the cars would meet. right next door to my house.so i went every week till the lousy ass winter hit.

I had too take a pic of a 409 just because of how rare they are. Back in the mid 80's I had a 64 Impala SS with a 409 4-speed.

409s and 348 were big block Chevys. They are unlike any other big block chevys. Nothing from a 409 will swap to a 454. They were the thing to have when they came out. Limited aftermarket for them nowadays.
