    Is it a bad thing when the belt on your engine is halfway off the pulley, and the bolt holding the whole thing together is about to fall off???

    Well it was a bit beyond my scope of knowledge when the thing wouldn't tighten... So I decided to take it to the garage at work, where there are the only mechanics I trust with my Jeep... On my way there, I was taking the exit to the hotel, which was one of those slow way the hell down and turn kinda things... Right when I was about to start turning the dang belt fell off... Of course, it's a serpentine belt that pretty much runs the show, so it kinda sucked... Mainly because I didn't have power steering all of a sudden and almost ended up cruising down an embankment at 50 mph...

    3 days to get the part in... :doah:

    I guess it could be worse though... If I hadn't left from camping early like I did, this could have happened in the middle of the woods, 30 miles from the nearest town... Surely the towing bill would've been darn near what I make in a month :eek1: :eek1: :eek1: :eek1:
