Wow, this is nuts. There were a boatload of thunderstorms that passed through today and now we're right under a huge one and in a tornado watch.

IT'S THE MIDDLE OF NOVEMBER, IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE SNOWING, APPARENTLY SOMEBODY DIDN'T GET THE MEMO!!!!!!!!

    That is all.

Sounds like they are a bit out of season. We rarely (twice in my lifetime) get any tornadoes here. I've always thought it would be fun to chase one though.

I always thought it'd be fun too. I watch too much national geographic I think.

Not much to really worry about with a "Watch". If you hear "Warning" then I would be concerned. The NWS puts out a watch if they feel condition are favorable for a tornado to develop

I'm not worried about the watch itself, it happens all the time in summer. I was more commenting on the fact that it's November 12th and we're still getting thunderstorms....quite odd for where I live.

    coincidence...

Funny you should mention the "Wizard of OZ"--its on TV right now!..

I'd keep an eye to the sky,but the "tornado WARNING" is the one to fear!..

We've had a few thunderstorms here this week,an unusual but not unheard of weather event here in november..one bolt of lightning struck only about 200 feet from my house at 1:15 am wednesday morning--I was dozing on the couch while watching the tv when it stuck! :eek1: --I thought a bomb went off!...I didn't sleep very well the rest of the night after that..
