Had to order a new sensor for the bike computer. The sales rep of the company that I talked to didn't really make me feel at ease. Called back a few days later, same guy, the part got out a day later than what I expected. So he tells me I would either get it today or tomorrow. I'm leaving early in the morning. Got home from work tonight and the part actually came in, it's the right part (although they forgot to put the screw in it, but that's why I have extras), got the computer all hooked up, it started working, zip-tied the wire in place, took the bike for a quick jaunt around the yard, computer still working.

Just waiting for a wake-up call, a shower, load up the rest of the bags and bike in the morning and it's Moab here I come:D

HA! Here I am this whole time thinking "WTF, his bicycle computer, what; he needs to know his speed and distance pedaling around the slickrock?" ANd why doesn't he just go get a new one at Target for 18 bucks.

So yes, a modersikle sounds much more fun in Moab.
