The main way we get to know most members here is by reading words on a screen, and occasionaly veiwing some pics and videos. I've often wondered if people think of me how I actually am, or by how how they interpret me from my posts? Some people may think I'm a douche bag from my postings, but would think I'm actually quite cool if they met me. Other's may think I'm cool from my postings, but think I'm a retard if they met me. :haha: :haha: :haha:

Has anyone else ever wondered what people are really like?

Which also makes me think, I would someday like to talk to RJ... but I'm scared.

I don't exceptionally have an image of you. I don't really have one of many people on here anymore. At one point I guess I did but they all blurred away over time.

I am an asshole for the most part in person. As my buddy told some chick who thought I was cool the other week "wow, most people don't know how to take him at first, they usually don't like him". I don't care, I get my ways from my Dad. You either love him or hate him, more hate...

Everyone is that way, different online than they are offline. Well...to a certain degree.

Meet me offline, I'll be the quiet observer that rarely speaks.

There's a good example, I always thought of you as the comedy relief that keeps this place interesting.

I dunno, I always pictured you as hairy, bald ,potbellied and very fond of bananas and Clint Eastwood.:haha:

I think I portray myself pretty much as I am in life here on CK5. I get along with most people, I'm pretty laid back and somewhat sarcastic. I read way too much news and current events, and care way too much about what it says (I'm working on this). I am trying to come to terms with the fact that the whole world does not necessarily need or want my opinion on everything (the wife let me in on that little secret):wink1:

I am the quiet guy that follows. I also say weird things in a conversation like "holy" too much. As Branndon :haha:

    I am also a quiet lurker,,untill provoked,,

people usually shy away from my quiet nature untill they get to know me,,
and then we get along great,,I look at my employees as units of labor and not as "friends or co-workers" Firing someone to me is no big deal,,the way I look at it ,,if they died I 'd have to replace them anyway,,,

I cut thru the bull s*it and see the world as black and white,,right and wrong,,,ying and yang,,,there are no grey area's in my life,,,you can't be a little bit pregnant,,,,you either are or are'nt,,,I have no time for the new generation that seems to think it's OK to blur all the lines just because someone might get there toes steped on.

On the net or off ,,with me,,,what you see is what you get,,,I shoot straight,,don't lie,,and don't care if my truthfullness hurts others,,
I have been accused of being brutally honest and my feeling is,,
allways shooting straight means never having to worry about covering your ass,,,,

that's about it in a nutshell,,

When I'm online most of the time, I'm "Brianna" a 16 yo girl that has trouble with my parents. She/I just broke up with my boyfriend and I am thinking of running away. Then some old pervert, I met in a chatroom, sends me a plane ticket to somewhere. I make sure it is round trip.

Not really, I saw that in a movie once.

Typically, I am a nice guy or a complete a$$. No in between. I use the old "approach determines response" mentality. First impressions are the only impression as far as I'm concerned. If someone is an a$$ to me the first time I meet them, that is what they get back. Cool in gets cool out. Online or otherwise.
