For once I finally have a weekend where I don't have a bunch of other sh*t to do and can work on the truck. Gotta get it ready for Moab. List of things to get done this weekend:

    1) Weld up rear shock mounts, Upper and lower.
    2) Replace front lower shock mounts.
    3) Build new fuel lines.
    4) Mount computer/fuse box.
    5) Buy a battery.

That should make for a great weekend! Once I have the rear shocks on I can take it to the exhaust shop and have it built. It's getting close to being on the road!

What are you guys working on!

    Later
    Mike

Number one on the top of my "sh!t list" for stuff to do is:

To stay indoors, out of the heat, and be cool as much as possible!! /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

I'm also gonna stay home all weekend and lounge around and check out CK5 about every now and then. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

    I just finished installing my 4" lift (thanx "Rockjunkies") last week, so this weekend entails;

Installing new rear wheel brake cylinders
    Bleeding brakes
Getting rims for my "new to me" 33's and mounting them bad boys up
Towing my buddy's "Suburbasaurus" (Rockwell equipped 'burban) to his new digs

    Hopefully, that's about it!

    John

My options for what I should (need to) do:
    1) Pull tranny and T-case out of '74 truck
    2) Put tranny and T-case in '85 truck
    3) Put transfer case in '78 Truck
    4) Replace tie rod on little crew cab
    5) Pull T-case out of big crew cab
    6) Repair cracked frame on Utility truck
    7) Put rear lift blocks under camouflage blazer
    8) Start disassembling '75 Blazer
    9) Replace clutch disc in "truck-blazer"

Or...take my last operating vehicle and drive around exploring the backroads.

Finishing up the 205 tonight after putting in the 400 input shaft, then the fun begins! The DOUBLER is finally going in this weekend! Can't wait to try it out! I have already built the doubler part of the setup with the adapter and the 203 range box, so the only thing left to do is to get it all in the truck. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Hmmmm, K5 it is! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif /forums/images/icons/grin.gif Got a 14B FF to install and a D60 to rebuild so that should eat up my time. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I has some unexpected days off this week, so I:
    a. Finished greasable rear bushing install
    b. Finished MOO engine xmember install
    c. Figured out that my rear ubolts were finger tight and that I should periodically check them
    d. Fixed more wiring on the 73

So, that leaves this weekend (which will be a rain-out) to do the family thing.

Been installing a new frame on my utility/camper trailer last sunday and today. Hope to finish it to the point of getting this thing out of the garage. Then I can reintall the top half.
Watching the weather right now. Papa Roach is playing On the bricks in Centianal park in Atlanta. Free concert sponsored by the local radio station. I have passes into the Nokia Hospitality tent. Read that as Free Booze and food /forums/images/icons/smile.gif It's starting to look like rain /forums/images/icons/frown.gif so still up in the air if we are going to go. Out door concerts in a thunderstorm are not much fun.
Guy from safelite left about 2 hours ago after putting in a new windsheild in Dollar. It got busted last week when I was on my way to meet up with Krazie and the GA crew when Krazie was in town. Got to love zero deductable comprehensive /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Poor old guy that put the windshied in wasn't real thrilled when he saw the 7ft tall truck LOL He was using a step ladder to get in and out of the truck. Had to help him put the window in because it was so tall LOL. He was pretty cool once I got him loosed up. Down side is I need to get another CK5 windsheild banner ordered.
If I have the trailler completely done Saturday then I'll get around to installing the front driveshaft in Dollar and getting my Rocker extensions cut and installed.
Been having fun with my new Hobart handler 175. Had the thing almost a year and didn't have much of a chance time wise to do any welding projects till the past week. MAN it rocks! the new frame for the trailer has been so much easier to build with a Mig than it would have been with the stick. I'm going to have to figure out a few more projects to build /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Ohhh Depdog! what's your schedule like next week? Hmmm that Stinger you and keith built looked sexy ! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
I have all of next week off. Hope to get a day of wheeling in. Also need to paint the kitchen (some vacation but you got to do what you got to do).

    1. Grind my D60 calipers to fit my new 15's.
    2. Get my new 38.5x14.5x15 tsl/sx's mounted and balanced.
    3. Finish my rear brake lines.
    4. Start making some tube doors.
    5. Pop the top off of the truck.
    6. Remove the doors and interior.
    7. Bolt up the new wheels and tires.
    8. Hit the local yard for some springs, either f-150's or 3/4 56's.
    9. Pull the nose off of the truck.
    10. Install new springs in the rear.
    11. Install zero rate off set's in the rear and move the axle back 1.5"'s.
