    Well I run a d44/12b, but if he needs a Hi-pinion D60 I'm gonna say he'll want a 14 bolt or D70.

he already has the D60 high pinion in his garage that he had made by boyce. He was wanting a D60 for the rear too but I am trying to break him of that and go with a 14BFF with a detroit locker. Oh, and he has an ARB in that front 60. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

it depends on his Budget and what he wants from the truck.. and since he had boyce build him an axle hes obviously not scaveging threw the couch cusions for change,if he wants Gears lower then 5;13's then get a d70 or a d60 rear.. if hes gonna run 5;13's or higher and wants to save some money on the rear locker then run the 14bff.

He already has the front axle all done and finished ready to be installed with 5.13 gears so that is what he will have to get for the rear. [ QUOTE ]

Hmm, you think a D70 with an ARB is better than a 14BFF with a detroit. Is it really worth all that extra cash to have an ARB'd rear instead of a detroit?

D60/D60, ARB's in both. The main reason I like ARB over Detroit out back is for driving in snow/ice. Dont get much here in OK, but drive alot to Colorado to ski/snowmobile.

Him and I are about 100 miles apart here in Cali and snow is out of the question unless we head up the hill into the sierras.

Truck has a 10Bolt and a 14bff in it right now, but the D60 is sitting pretty in the garage, just need to find the time to regear the 14bff to 4.56 and intall the locker and gears in the D60 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
