I've had my head gasket leak on the left bank of my 350 twice in the last 3 months. I'm going to take the heads and intake to get milled next week and I was wondering which head gasket to use. I was looking at summit and they have fel-pro for $59.90 for the pair or the dead soft copper "that the racers use" for $69.95 for 4.00 to 4.06 bore @ .040 thick or $99.95 for 4.00 bore @ .060 thick. I was thinking of using the .060 thick to make up the difference from getting the heads machined. I don't mind spending a little extra money for quality but I'm not that familiar with this stuff. So, whatcha guys think? Any comments and opinions are appreciated.

Thanks for the info, I saw this post the other day but never saw a response to it. Should have done a search. [IMG]
