I would like to have another large CK5 event next summer, any prefferance to weekends that fall on or near a holliday? Was thinking around August sometime, last year when the site was smaller we had 20 K5's show up, the trail report is on the trail report page by the way. Because we are growing and now include trucks and Subs as well as K5's it could get rather large. Just want to get in the planning stages.

Mile Hi Jeep Club always has their All-4-Fun event the first week in August. Just about any time other than that works for me. [IMG]

While I know too close to hlidays may not be good for some, I think it would help those of us coming in from further distances. Depending on where in CO we meet, it will take me a couple of days to get there (safely) and a couple of days to get home. Wrapping it around a holiday or a weekend would help me as it pertains to vacation time.

tx85gmcguy, I used to make the run from Houston to Colorado Springs every summer. Took about 18 hours. Subtract the 5 hours between Houston and Dallas and you're down to about 13 hours. [IMG]

Doubt I would actually be able to go next year, but if I was able to, Aug. is usually a good month for me.

I agree with Burt. July is always good vacation season too. We always take our vacations in July when we go to Colorado. I'm off this week and next week. So, I wouldn't mind next years Bash to be held sometime in July.

BTW, if you guys can get a confirmation on the date for next years Bash, COUNT ME IN!!! I'm definitely coming up to see everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!! [IMG]

Anybody planning on checking out my homepage, forget it, I am still working on it!!!

I would like to make a trip out to Colorado and next year sounds good to me. We all have to remember, Colorado Winters are pretty much year 'round (just kidding), so when planning we need to think about the weather. I think August is a very good time to be there! I was there in August a few years ago and it was very nice. Mr. Fox, you know what this means... If I make it to your neck of the woods, you have to attend the Midwest Spring K5 Thing in the future as well. [IMG]
