I worked on my stereo for a couple of hours. I got started late and lost the day light so I had to quit before I could finish.

I'm installing a new amp, new 4 ga amp install kit, new brackets for the radio, new 6x9's and new kicker comps.

well besides working at the job on saturday , i did some yard work , lowered my t-case 1" , fixed the shock mounting on the front of my k5 , and reset my idle also.
then on my s15 , i repaired my vacuum switch so the 4wheel
    drive would work.
i ordered a locker last week for the s15 but it did not
come in friday so i was not able to install it this weekend.

I just pulled out the seats from the k5 and pulled back the carpet. Seems some of that rain water is gettin in on passeger side.! I need to finish por 15'n the inside floor! I pulled the carpet back to let it dry. Stuff I have done to interior last 6 months:
    -New dash from Coverlay
    -new door panels,
    -new door/windor regulators
    -new carpet-font and back
-i reupohlstered(spelling?) the seats...if you've never done, do it, its easy. It was my first time and no problem, they look great. I ordered a seat cover kit from Chevy Duty
    -new heater core
    -new seat belts
-replaced steering column with one from ebay
    -new stereo- just finishing up
-still need to build rear interior side panels though. I have the old one's, but i want to build custom storage units into the side panels
    -painted dash- black of course

i will post a pic once i do the por and seats are back in (tomorrow) if it does not rain.....damn this weather.

I moved Donna's K5 under it's own power. I still got alot to do but it is comming along. I got my Highangle 1350 CV shaft today, the SYE should be on it's way and the trans is being built either this week or next. Modified the Warn bumper to raise it up a little and once I have a winch for it I am going to try and move it a little higher (PA bumper hight law sucks) and tuck it in more. In the end it will be the bumper that Warn should have built. I already replaced the top plates with .188 steel but if my bro in law can get me some aluminum plate I will make a new set out of that. Here are a couple of pics of the K5 and our new family member.

I had the same problem, the cigerate lighter would short and blow the fuse for my dome light and radio. I had to rewire the lighter.

Sat morning I swapped the TSLs on to go wheeling that afternoon. Then last nite I swapped the street tires back on and hosed her down for inspection today.

Last week I got my HEI swap done.

Now I need to get my truck fixed to PASS inspection. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
