What do I need to look for to do a disc brake conversion with junkyard parts on my 12bolt? Do the caddy calipers work? Thanks guys!

Do a search for 12 bolt discs. I have made the list too many times!
There was just one last week or 2 weeks ago...

I did a search and came up empty handed. Did you find any information. I'm also interested.

According to the "search" there hasn't been a post about 12 bolt discs in the last 6 months. I searched Thumpers posts and found a few references back in December and November to backing plates and proportioning valves, but no "List" of components...How 'bout it again Mike???

It's there, and the date of some of the posts was the 12th of March. If you want an e-brake on the caliper though, there still isn't much info.

make sure you are searching by the right username/spelling/caps or not... 12 bolt disk using "and" or "phrase" for the past year turned up nothing. But it did come up using the correct username.

Hows this: http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=blazer4x4&Number=352145&Search=true&Forum=blazer4x4&Words=thumper&Match=Username&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=3weeks&Main=351353

If you want good cheap caliper mounts, try this place... http://www.speedwaymotors.com/ Look under Race Products/Brakes/Mounts. They make some really nice weld on mounts for about $15 each. I planned on making a plate that would bolt to the end of the axle housing and then welding the mounts to that plate. That way if I destroy the housing I can just swap everything over to a new one.
