What do I need to do to fit 35\'s with a 4\" lift?

I have an 87 K5 with a 4" superlift and 1" ord zero-rate in the back. I currently have 15X10 wheels carrying 33x12.5" Procomp mudders....what do I need to do to the truck to comfortably fit 35x12.5 or 35x14.5 on my current wheels with my current lift?? I figure some body triming is in order, but roughly how much will I be looking at here??? Any pics of similar setups would be great also.

Trimming is all you need to do. There are some with no lift and 35s, just trimin's.

Do a search on "fender trimming" and you should see a bunch of posts w/ pics. Check in the General forum too. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

you might not need to trim unless you plan to shove that tire way up in the wheel well

I plan on wheeling so I dont want any rub at all. I will do a search and see what I can find, but keep the posts coming with all the info you've got!

might as well trim them fenders nice and high now and get it over with. I run 35s on road, and 39.5s off road... Ive trimmed enough that the bigger meats clear with 5" of suspension lift + 1" of bl. You can check my webshots. I dunno, I think it looks good... if u think its geeky with the 35s on there, then maybe you'd wanna trim a lil less. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

With my 4" BDS and 36" Bias Swampers I didn't need to do any trimming, it rubbed slighty once and awhile wheeling it, but nothing major, suppose I could have trimmed alittle off the rear part of the front fenders.

Now that I have 38s, it required the quick fix of a BFH. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I have a skyjacker softride 4" on my 78 K10. I fit 35x12.5-15 BFG AT's on M/t 15x10 wheels and 3.5" BS with no fender trimming on the rear and only a slight trail adjustment to the bottom rear of the front fender. Maybe the last 4" of the back slope of the opening. Sorry, I don't have any pics.
