This is a truck, a guy i work with owns, it has gone through some pretty serious "modification"
dont like the rims, tires, stance, color or bed cover. lol i'd like it 10x better stock
i would like it is it wasent so low.
a local guy has made a 1/2 ton 2wd crew cab with a short box, looks great, i would do it if i could just as a little go getter nothing more.
i dont care what everyone else says, that's a damned sexy truck. a little new style with the Burb grille, a little old style with the color, and the wheels. VERY nicely done.
i like the rims, little hot rod style
did he make the bed useless?
stupid if he did
Might as well send it to the dump......................
I don't care for all that lowrider stuff. I grew up with things known as pot holes. Those pot hole things have been know too trash rims on vehicles sitting at stock hight, slam the undercarage on the ground, ...ect. Also grew up around railroad tracks. A lowrider isn't practical. I don't like the look either. I was told that lowriders are for the guys that can't get it up.
Here's a pic of my old truck.
I like the hell out of it. Looks like a fun ride for going to work, carpooling, getting supplies and general usage.
I've seen worse. With the right power plant, I'd drive it.
I'd **** it. I like lowriders that are done correctly, and hate cheap posers, the same with trucks. I want to kick every fratboy with a Z71 with a 3" body lift and 33's in the nuts. Someday, I would love to build something like this.
You should let him know someone stole his springs.
Interesting,,,should have done a poll on this one. I see mixed responces on it, but hey, that's what makes everyone so unique, different opinions, tastes,,,(say that about women too )
anyhoo, i guess the truck started out it's life as a SRW 1-ton, he swapped out the axles for some 1/2 ton units, shortened the frame and mounted a shortbox on it. So i am assuming that it most likely has the 454 in it, guess i'll have to check in on this more.
The trucks bed is still usefull, nothing inside has beed cut out, every now and then he rolls in to work with the top removed.
i thought the wheels were kinda weird as well, but kinda keeps the "bling" look to a minimum i guess. Very clean interior, no loud stereo, or major mods,,,just an overall extremely clean job.
and the dude driving it, has to be in his late 40's early 50's,,,real nice guy
Id drive it. I like nicely done drops's, the only thing i would change would be the wheel/tire combo. I think i nice set of 17" cragar's would look great, but would kill its ability to haul much of anything.
Nicest lettuce picker I ever saw.
with the top removed?
i agree, i don't really like the chrome ring on the wheels though.
oh, that grille style would be factory for this truck if its a 89-91, not necessarily a burb or blazer grille.
Its got a hard toneau (sp?) cover on it.
I like the stance it's different. The color is another story
Chop the top, you gotta do it. loose 4-5". brings the proportions together.
Separate names with a comma.
