The red one is oogly, but i really love the green and orange ones. I love to see Gm put them into production with a rerto engie, say a 302 LS1 type engine.

Looks like a photshop job of the SS concept.
I like the modernized retro style they're trying to go with.
Looks good, if it's RWD and a pushrod V8 I'd drive one, better than the new mustang too!

The red one has the hidden headlights that look like a '69.
The green concept looks like the '67/'68 hidden headlights.

There was another hand drawn concept that looked cool also, i can't seem to find it.

wow, this is one of the first "brought back concept cars" that I actually. I especially think the green one and the orange one do a god job of capturing some of the lines of the original camero while still having new styling. Thanks for posting the pics /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'll be the black sheep; that thing is fugly... Too molded and plastic looking, like a 'cuda hit a 69 camaro hit a miata hit a stealth, then rolled down a hill and got 19" rims from the 'hood.
Yeah, it has some retro qualities, but the first thing that strikes me is "introducing the first electric car not made for nerds"...

At least when the 93+ generation came out, they were making attempts to transition from the last evolution of the body to state-of-the-art; this one, there's too much difference with no in-between, they're trying to squeeze reallllly old styling into barely-out-there-yet styling; the styles are too drastically different to have a solid looking car on it's own...
For now, I give it a thumbs down for trying too hard to please too different enthusiasts. I guess with the ricer market being so hot, they have to compete, though.

I'm sure I'll love it in a couple years if it goes into production.

Unless its at a local dealer near Me any time soon then it's just another reason why Ford owned GM in the pony car wars. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Yeah thats right the Mustang is loosing to no one now. Point proven! Top speed isn't what it's all about. GM just could not compeat and had to give up. Don't get Me wrong I'm a Chevy guy but the sad truth is there is no more Camaros but yet You can still go buy a Mustang.

What I like about the Mustang is its retro styling that is readily apparent. With the Camaro concept, if you squint really hard and let your mind wander, you can just barely see the similarity to the 67. I think that Mustang is going to sell like hotcakes......

the problem is that none of those are GM concepts. Sure, GM might see a good thing here and make an attempt, especially when the Mustang starts selling like crazy again...but the guys that'll do the actual design are the same guys that did the Avalanche and Aztec.

It'll end up looking like crap, then they'll make it front wheel drive and add 42 separate cupholders. Of course, it'll have some really expensive sticker package...

GM hasn't designed anything decent looking in a long time...even the new Corvette I'm not particularly big on.

Just look at the GTO...they want to bring back the GTO but have to rip off an Australian designed GM product and re-badge it.
