well, finally registered the ol girl today- and called for insurance, since our insurances policy is up for renewal on the 28th, I decided to do some shopping- to add the blazer to our policy- which already has multiple car, and homeowner discounts, along with "experienced driver (johns an old fart),,, and both of us with ZERO points on our license- back 5 years (as far as they check)... the only negative we have is John's accident from 1997,,(which isn't "really" on there anymore....

and to add the blazer- it increases our policy by 664.00 a year- this is just liability insurance, the lowest amounts allowed by law--

what are you guys paying for your trucks?

FYI- when we put the suburban on- full coverage- collision, comprehensive, and liability- it only increased it by 860.00..

HELP!!!!! I need 16.5x 12 rims -------please please please!!!!!

oh, still LOVING the new dmax as well!

When I added mine to our policy it only cost $200 extra a year.

I pay about $480 a year for just liability, once I get over $2K into it I'll probably go full coverage so I don't lose it if I (or someone else) wrecks it. I just hate paying more in insurance per year than what the vehicle is worth.

Yearly was 800 now with a two car discount (honda accord four door full coverage) and now theft of the K5 TOTAL $1,400 yearly. So 130 a month in SF Bay Area. Your Age and Location have a whole heck of a lot to do with it...It SUCKS.

I pay $135 a month [IMG]. But I have 2 points thanks to an accident.... they only check back 3 years for points so in a year and a half they get taken off and then in Sept I turn 25 which will help some. But I have full coverage... covered if I hit anyone or anyone hits me, including uninsured motorists... I have a $250 deduct too... and extended coverage on my mods. I have an independant Mercury carrier... so far they rock. But I might be partial since he owns a K5 too and the secretary, her son goes to the school I was working at... so she always helps me out quick and does extra things for me! [IMG]

For the 89 K5 with full coverage its only about $425.00 a year. But I have a lot of discounts and have been with the same company for 20 years.
On the car my daughter drives its over 600 a year just for liability[IMG]
I'll be glad when she turnes 18 and will have to start paying her own insurance.

I had mine evaluated and insured for that amount. It is also strictly off road and off road liability insurance is extremely expensive. I pay $2400.00 a year just for the bogger to be used wheeling on weekends.
When I race I'm on my own. They will not touch that kind of liability.

    Expensive sport
