I'm new to this site and am impressed at all the info available. This places rocks!
Anyway, I have a chance to get 37x12.50x16.5 Wrangler MTs.
The guy wants $75 apiece and they have 90% tread left. Is this a good deal? How do these tires flex, hold up, wear on the street?
Does anybody have any pictures of them mounted on black wheels?

    THanks

Are you buying them from an individual or a company? Just curious, sounds like a 'deal' that's been going around.

I am not sure about how they flex, but I do not the are good on the street and if you want to buy them new there pretty pricey. I am in the military and had beat the hell out of the ones on my humvee and they are holding up pretty good. Goto www.usa6x6.com to see them mountred on black humvee rims. I hope that helps you some.

I agree, had a set on my k20 they suck in the mud and wear out quick on the pavement I think they wear out quicker than swampers /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Swanson, to answer your question, there is a guy advertising them in truck trader. the ad has been in there as long as i can remember so i don't know if he has a bunch or if nobody wants them.

For $75 each, it doesn't sound so bad. It may be a good deal, but as tires go, I don't like them much.

The military versions are probably on a different carcass, but my bro had a set of 33x12.50's on his 1/2ton Dodge. I really liked them. They handled all weather great, but wore quickier than he would have liked.
